190SL 1.9 W121 Convertible 1955

This 1955 Mercedes-Benz 190SL represents an early example of one of the marque’s most elegant post-war roadsters. Finished in Fire Engine Red over Black Nappa leather, this privately imported, single-owner example has been comprehensively restored, with its engine number, chassis number and original specification verified by the factory Data Card.

Powered by the 1.9-litre M121 inline-four with dual Solex carburetors and paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The restoration included comprehensive work to the engine, gearbox, suspension, bodywork and interior, while retaining distinctive early-production details including the desirable bucket seats.
